The gallery has locations in Malmö and Stockholm and represents a carefully selected roster of internationally recognized artists. ## About Galleri GKM was founded in 1967 by Siwert Bergström under the name Galleri Kända Målare in Jönköping, Sweden. In 1984 the gallery relocated to its current address at Stora Nygatan 30 in Malmö, at the recommendation of the Dutch artist Corneille. The gallery is now in its third generation of family management under Thomas and Karl-Johan Bergström, with Ludvig Bergström representing the next generation. From 1981 to 1995, Galleri GKM participated in the FIAC international art fair at the Grand Palais in Paris, establishing deep connections with the international contemporary art scene. The gallery has maintained a strong presence in the Nouveau Réalisme movement since the 1980s, working closely with artists such as Arman, César, and Corneille.
